I wonder if you who is reading this now also falls a victim of thinking that someone out there has got the solutions to all your problems or even a job will make you happier or a relationship will fulfil you or lifestyle so prestigeous will make you happier?
Well i think the same sometimes and actually i do make steps to look for what i think would fulful the empty space i feel.
I purely have nothing against trying however after looking all over the place i just want to highlight i few things i have learnt from the BOOK that gives me a reason to be still and wait just a little longer . . . . . . .
- Psalms 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
- Romans 10:11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
- Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
- Proverbs 16:20 Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD
- Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.
- Psalms 56:3 When I am afraid, I will trust in you.
- Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.
- Psalms 84:12 O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
- Psalms 125:1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
- Isaiah 30:18 Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
- Lamentation 3:26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
- Hosea 12:6 But you must return to your God; maintain love and justice, and wait for your God always.
I am not sure i can end this list so friend in simple terms wait,trust and delight in the Lord
