PRAYER

Prayer as is defined by DR. Myles Munroe (Pastor, writter and motivational speaker) is giving God permission to act on the earthly realm. When God was done with creation He gave man dominion and ever since for Him to do anything on the Earth we need to allow Him to and that is prayer.

This is what has starred up my spirit, the fact that each person has a measure of faith and the qualification to your victory in prayer is just faith as tiny as a mustered seed. Remember always that without faith it is impossible to please God.

Matthew 17:20
He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

LET'S MAKE IT A HABIT TO PRAY FOR EACH OTHER. . . . . . THAT WE MAY LIVE PURPOSEFUL LIVES

THE WOMAN IN A BROAD PLACE

Protects God’s purpose like Miriam did when she watched Moses from a distance by the River Nile to make sure that He lived to deliver the Israelites. Exodus 2: 14

Knows God’s timings in her life like Rebekah did when she agreed to leave with Abraham’s servant to get married to Isaac a stranger. Genesis 54:27

Impresses the King like Esther did when she found favor with the king and hence saved a nation. Esther 2:17

Mother like Deborah Judges 5:7 who was a home maker Judges 4:4 (Prophetess and wife) and Judge 4:5

Does not take short cuts in life like Ruth did not Ruth 1:14 – 17 It’s because of her persistence that she found a new beginning in hopelessness.

Is intelligent and beautiful like Abigail who begged King David to pardon Her husband for insulting him/his servants. 1 Samuel 25 V 18 Abigail lost no time. She took two hundred loaves of bread, two skins of wine, five dressed sheep, five seahs of roasted grain, a hundred cakes of raisins and two hundred cakes of pressed figs, and loaded them on donkeys

Is a businesswoman and worshipper like Lydia was; she was dealer in purple cloth and worshipper. She opened her house for the brethren to encourage one another Acts 16: 14 and 40

Is a teacher like Priscilla and Aquila her husband was Acts 18: 24-26 24Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. 25He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor [b] and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.. She was a tent maker.

Is a role model in sincerity of faith like Eunice was to Timothy her son.
1Timothy 5 I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

Is compassionate like Salome, Mary Magdaline and Mary mother of James were. Who brought all the spices to anoint Jesus body from the tomb? Mark 16:1. They stayed around through the death of Jesus

Does good and help the poor like Dorcas did Acts 9:36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas ), who was always doing good and helping the poor.

Mother of nations like Sarah was through her son Isaac the promise from God in her old age Genesis 17:19

Affirms, confirms and offers comfort like Elizabeth did to Mary mother to Jesus Luke 1: 41 and 56

Is prayer worrier like Hanna was 1 Samuel 1:10 In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD

Opportunity; has it ever come knocking at your door?

In this life, we may never get all we ever wanted, but did you know that everybody gets an opportunity atleast once to get the best out of life.

Opportunity is haughty goddess who wastes no time with those who are unprepared. Source THE RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON

We all from time to time have fallen victims of searching for GOLD mines in other places yet just behind in our back yards we have tones of treasures unearthed. If i would be a psalmist today my psalms would be:

Oh why do I search for many things that bring suffering to my heart
Why does my heart long to be like "the rich" and the evil hearted that have no joy
Why is my heart so committed to vein ways of the world
Why is it that i never seem to be satisfied even when God answers my prayer
Have mercy, i cry my Lord on me.
Teach me today to be content with life, that already is a free gift
Please i pray never give up on me, even when you should!
AMEN

In a twinkle of an eye. . . . . . . .

Have you ever thought of how fast things can change,
How within a twinkle of an eye
Like a wind passing by and it passes with that moment and time
Sweet free and beautiful life and how it can just end
Have you asked yourself what if oxygen went missing one of this days

Everyone talked about tsunamis, September 11th and all those
Have you thought about what was going on just before the disaster stroke
Did anyone expect anything, I guess not even the experts
What about the people left in that dead land mass, YES what about them?

Have you thought about the minute's pleasure that has caused
The world to suffer terrible and miserable deaths
In less than 10 minutes yes it feels real nice “feel on top of the world”
But in two years time the whole village is wiped out!
How fast can things change? By the way ume chill?

Think about the helpless child, whose mother died just after birth
With no one to breast feed them, with no one to sing a lullaby to them.
What about the one who was discarded on the streets?
Don’t you think things can change a little bit too fast?

Martin Luther the dreamer, kept dreaming and it came to pass

Don’t we all have dreams anyway or should i say do we have dreams
Ha ha was it just the other day that you were born
Do you remember your first day at school
The very first time of everything you ever did?

It was just like yesterday!

Life is a journey not a destination, and as you live this life know my Change is inevitable,
Change is what you and I MUST want no matter what it brings
Rejoice knowing that we will never have answers to all questions
All things work together for our good.

My mother who raised US alone since my dad passed away in 1991 always welcomed people so we learnt to value people and do all we can to help people.I prefer my peers or slighly older and teenagers coz i find them a bit easy to flow with.I am the second born in a family of four. I have older brother younger brother then younger sister.I read a lot mostly motivating books, listen to motivational speakers and i love browsing the net. I appreciate dicovery, information and people's real life experiances.I love watching documentaries and true life story movies and programes, fiction no no no thanks. May be comedies but just kodogo really.
My favourite channels are Discovery, CCTV DWtv coz they show good documentaries.I love having friends im my house chatting, eating and together yah yah . . .making noise and sharpening each other! "Iron sharpens iron remember" So then it goes without saying i love cooking and planning for events - i am a good organizer my plots rarely backfire . . .no brags.

God has given me a heart to listen to people, really i cannot explain it but I just like working with people especially people who see possibilities in life. Strange though i am not so outgoing - a bit reserved and it takes me a while to make friends but once i connect no turning back.i love and appreciate Music I can sing and compose songs when i put myself together.I write "kutupoems" and i like inspiring people.I enjoy talking to people and advising them when i can - that explains my passion for psychology and customer management. My friends are people who challange me and are real with me - call spade a spade (kama mbaya ni mbaya).I hate jokers with a passion you know (people who just take things for granted) and liars too. I hate slow "nothing going on NGO" people and most of all selfish me me me kinds of people.

My best sentance is " IF YOU WANT TO BE SOMEBODY AND GO SOMEWHERE YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP AND PAY ATTENTION!

BIBLE CHAPTER: Favourite

Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, [a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
BARAKA I LOVE YOU!
