THE WOMAN IN A BROAD PLACE

Protects God’s purpose like Miriam did when she watched Moses from a distance by the River Nile to make sure that He lived to deliver the Israelites. Exodus 2: 14

Knows God’s timings in her life like Rebekah did when she agreed to leave with Abraham’s servant to get married to Isaac a stranger. Genesis 54:27

Impresses the King like Esther did when she found favor with the king and hence saved a nation. Esther 2:17

Mother like Deborah Judges 5:7 who was a home maker Judges 4:4 (Prophetess and wife) and Judge 4:5

Does not take short cuts in life like Ruth did not Ruth 1:14 – 17 It’s because of her persistence that she found a new beginning in hopelessness.

Is intelligent and beautiful like Abigail who begged King David to pardon Her husband for insulting him/his servants. 1 Samuel 25 V 18 Abigail lost no time. She took two hundred loaves of bread, two skins of wine, five dressed sheep, five seahs of roasted grain, a hundred cakes of raisins and two hundred cakes of pressed figs, and loaded them on donkeys

Is a businesswoman and worshipper like Lydia was; she was dealer in purple cloth and worshipper. She opened her house for the brethren to encourage one another Acts 16: 14 and 40

Is a teacher like Priscilla and Aquila her husband was Acts 18: 24-26 24Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures. 25He had been instructed in the way of the Lord, and he spoke with great fervor [b] and taught about Jesus accurately, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.. She was a tent maker.

Is a role model in sincerity of faith like Eunice was to Timothy her son.
1Timothy 5 I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

Is compassionate like Salome, Mary Magdaline and Mary mother of James were. Who brought all the spices to anoint Jesus body from the tomb? Mark 16:1. They stayed around through the death of Jesus

Does good and help the poor like Dorcas did Acts 9:36 In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which, when translated, is Dorcas ), who was always doing good and helping the poor.

Mother of nations like Sarah was through her son Isaac the promise from God in her old age Genesis 17:19

Affirms, confirms and offers comfort like Elizabeth did to Mary mother to Jesus Luke 1: 41 and 56

Is prayer worrier like Hanna was 1 Samuel 1:10 In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD
